Terms and Conditions
Treatment
-
In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, all animals must have veterinary consent prior to their first appointment. Failure to provide this at the time of treatment will result in the animal not being seen. The Veterinary Consent form can be found on the website here. If the animal develops a new condition whilst having therapy for an existing condition, a new veterinary consent form may be required before treatment can continue.
-
Physiotherapy treatment will stop if the animal requires veterinary treatment, is unwell, or is deemed unsafe for handling by the veterinary physiotherapist.
-
The owner must ensure that their animal is clean and dry for their physiotherapy appointment, and please ensure there is a safe place for treatment.
Payments
-
All payments will be taken on the day of, or prior to, treatment by cash or card. Invoices for BACS payments can be sent via email and are to be paid within 48 hours after the appointment. Late payment charges will incur if there is no payment within the stated time above. This is a charge of £5 per day after 48 hours of your appointment time.
-
EF Veterinary Physiotherapy will insure clients are aware of any travel costs are before appointments. There is no charge for milage within 10 miles of Milton (OX15). 50p per mile outside of that is calculated according to the faster travel time distance on Google Maps, disregarding any routes that include tolls.
Cancellation Policy
-
Cancellations made less then 48 hours before the appointment time will incur a 50% charge of the appointment fee. Less than 24 hours cancellation notice or failure to turn up for your appointment will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the treatment cost.
-
Cancellation charges are up to the discretion of EF Veterinary Physiotherapy as I understand sometimes there is good reason for appointment cancellations.
-
We reserve the right to cancel your appointment and will inform you as far in advance as possible if this is the case.
Insurance Claims
-
Many insurance companies will reimburse costs for veterinary physiotherapy. However, it is advised that you check your policy before booking an appointment. EF Veterinary Physiotherapy is not liable if you are unable to claim back the cost of treatment via your insurance policy.
